Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities

As the premier conference in the field of information search and retrieval, SIGIR attracts the best talent in industry and academia. At each conference, we offer a number of opportunities to sponsors who wish to increase the visibility of their organization in this rapidly advancing field, both locally and internationally.

Sponsor donations allow the conference registration fees to be kept as low as possible, both to promote attendance and to offset the cost of events and provide services and items that benefit all involved in the event. Supporting SIGIR activities is an excellent way to reach a wide audience with high impact. Your generosity will also help us expand SIGIR's program and events.

Based on the amount you donate, you can qualify for one of the following SIGIR Corporate Support levels (all amounts are in Euros):

Three complimentary registrations for conference and industry event, special corporate support ribbons for your staff.
Silver	EUR 5,000	Advance recognition as Silver supporter in print and on the web. Recognized as a Silver supporter on registration brochures and conference program. One company-provided item in conference tote bag. Logo displayed on signage at SIGIR 2007. One complimentary registration for conference and industry event, special corporate support ribbons for your staff.
Bronze	EUR 2,500	Advance recognition as Bronze supporter in print and on the web. Recognized as a Bronze supporter on registration brochures and conference program. One page insert in conference tote bag. Logo displayed on signage at SIGIR 2007. One complimentary registration for conference or industry event, special corporate support ribbons for your staff.

In addition, all Corporate Support donors enjoy:

• VIP seating for complimentary registrants at plenary sessions
• Use of SIGIR Corporate Support logo
• Your logo and URL on the SIGIR 2007 Web site
• Access to students for potential employment opportunities

As an alternative for sponsoring the scientific event, SIGIR 2007 introduces the new Industry Event. The Industry Event targets an audience of researchers, vendors and IR consumers from industry, with a program that comprises a mix of presentations from all three groups. Attendance is by invitation only. The Industry Event can be sponsored for EUR 5,000, with benefits including the recognition as supporter in print and on the web, as well as two complimentary invitations to attend the event.
